Did Biden’s forgetful heart betray the 20th anniversary of the Twin Towers?

What has the Western world’s so-called ‘war on terror’ managed to do in the 20 years since we all watched the Twin Towers demolished by hatred and the demonic will to terrify and murder?

Well, we drove al-Qaeda out of Afghanistan didn’t we. And the Taliban from power.

And for a while we actually managed to bring human rights and democracy to this country at the crossroads of Central and South Asia.

Women received an education and freedom too.

And we murdered Bin Laden.

Then we ‘lost’ the Iraq War … and Tony Blair, for one, was shown up to be a liar and a warmonger who for some explicable reason became a peace envoy.

We must never forget how 9/11 damaged life and honesty across the world.

And remember that in Afghanistan, thousands of American troops and 457 of our own died.

So, on the run-up to the anniversary of the world’s most horrific terror attack what did we do?

America left Afghanistan, defeated as ignominiously as they left Viet Nam and so many other places. The world’s most powerful nation trounced by men women and children of the mountains, the forests and the deserts.

So what does our own Boris mean when he says “liberty and democracy will always prevail over every foe”?

Is he telling the truth?

Have we actually prevailed over the Taliban and the terrorists?

No we haven’t.

As we remember the Day That Changed The World, we see that there are no winners.

Biden suddenly took us out of Afghanistan and things went back to normal almost immediately.

We lost in the sands of time.

Biden’s forgetful heart and determination to get out of Afghanistan before the 9/11 anniversary has left Islamist terrorists and Western haters more powerful than ever.

And they are armed to the teeth with US weaponry.

Remembering 9/11 should be a time of healing, not a time of grotesquery. It should not be a time of betrayal by Biden who joins the list of ‘Bs’ who led the world in a terror … Bin Laden, Bush, Blair, Biden.

And now there is Boris who is now so in danger of bringing up the rear.
