Goodbye Sidney Poitier, a man who helped change the world

Sidney Poitier, the first black man to win a Best Actor Oscar, has died, aged 94.

His death has just been confirmed by Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell.

Mitchell said, “We’ve lost a great Bahamian and I’ve lost a personal friend.”
